The Traffic (Clutha County) Notice No. 2, 1981

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Clutha County) Notice No. 2, 1981.

The area specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The notice issued pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, dated the 24th day of November 1958*, which declares an area in Clutha County at Pounawea to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956 is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Clutha County at Pounawea:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern bank of the Owaka River due north of the western end of Ocean Grove; thence easterly generally along the said bank of the Owaka River and southerly generally along the north-eastern bank of the Catlins Lake to a point due south of the commencing point; thence due north by a right line to the commencing point.
