Approval of Hospitals for the Purposes of Section 16 (1) of
the Medical Practitioners Act 1968
PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 16 of the Medical
Practitioners Act 1968, the Minister of Health, acting on
the recommendation of the Medical Council, hereby approves
of the hospitals specified in the second column of the Schedule
hereto, and controlled in each case by the authority indicated
in respect thereof in the first column of that Schedule, as
hospitals in which any person who is for the time being condi-
tionally registered under that Act may practise medicine
or surgery.
This notice amends the notice of approval of hospitals
published in the Gazette of 1980, No. 85, p. 2192, and that
notice is hereby revoked.

Subdivision of Land by the Northland Harbour Board
I, Colin Campbell Alexander McLachlan, having obtained
the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section
143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant
to section 143A (1) (a) of the Harbours Act 1950, the sub-
division of land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the
Northland Harbour Board pursuant to section 143B of the
said Act, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effec-
tive from the date hereof.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land in the North Auckland Land Regis-
tration District containing 3.742 hectares, more or less, being
part of Lot 1, on D.P. 65087, as described in certificate of
title, Volume 268, folio 37, and being part of Section 27,
Block IX, Whangarei Survey District, as described in certifi-
cate of title, Volume IV, folio 139, and the whole of the
said land being more particularly shown on plan M.D. 16038,
sheets 1 and 2, which said plan is held in the office of the
Ministry of Transport at Aurora House, The Terrace, Wel-
ington.

Price Order No. 190 (Ecuadorian Bananas)
PURSUANT to the Commerce Act 1975, I, Geoffrey Lewis
Struthers, pursuant to a delegation from the Secretary of
Trade and Industry hereby make the following price order:
-
This order may be cited as Price Order No. 190 and
shall come into force on the 26th day of January 1981. -
(1) Price Order No. 184* is hereby revoked.
(2) The revocation of the said order shall not affect the
liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto
committed before the coming into force of this order.
- References in this order to metropolitan areas are
references to the metropolitan areas described in the Schedule
hereto.
APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER
- This order applies with respect to all Ecuadorian bananas
sold by way of retail in New Zealand.
MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICES OF ECUADORIAN BANANAS
- (1) The maximum price that may be charged or received
by any retailer for any Ecuadorian bananas to which this
order applies shall be:
(a) When sold by a retailer carrying on business in any of
the metropolitan areas of Auckland, Wellington,
Christchurch, or Dunedin, or in any of the Cities
or Boroughs of Whangarei, Hamilton, Tauranga,
Rotorua, Gisborne, New Plymouth, Stratford, Hawera,
Wanganui, Palmerston North, Napier, Hastings,
Masterton, Blenheim, Nelson, Greymouth, Timaru,
Westport, Oamaru, Balclutha, Gore, Alexandra, or
Invercargill—
$1.11 a kilogram.
(b) When sold by a retailer carrying on business else-
where—
$1.13 a kilogram.
(2) If in respect of any lot of bananas the price calculated
in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this clause is
not an exact number of cents, the maximum price of the lot
shall be computed to the nearest whole cent.
