MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICE OF BUTTER TO WHICH THIS SPECIAL APPROVAL APPLIES

  1. (1) The maximum retail price of butter to which this Special Approval applies shall be computed at the rate of:
    (i) 98c a 500 gram pack of salted creamery butter.
    (ii) 51c a 250 gram pack of salted creamery butter.
    (iii) 99c a 500 gram pack of unsalted creamery butter.
    (iv) 95c a 500 gram pack of salted whey butter.
    (v) 96c a 500 gram pack of unsalted whey butter.

(2) If, in respect of any lot of butter sold by a retailer, the maximum price calculated in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this clause is not an exact number of cents, the maximum price of the lot shall be computed to the nearest whole cent.

SPECIAL PRICES WHERE EXTRAORDINARY CHARGES INCURRED

  1. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing provisions of this Special Approval and subject to such conditions, if any as he thinks fit, the Secretary, on application by any trader, may authorise special maximum prices in respect of any butter to which this Special Approval applies where special circumstances exist or for any reason extraordinary charges are incurred by the trader. Any authority given by the Secretary under this clause may apply with respect to a specified lot or consignment of butter or may relate generally to any butter to which this Special Approval applies sold by the trader while the approval remains in force.

Levy on Stock Slaughtered (No. 2528, Ag 4/52/11/3)

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Meat Export Control Act 1921-22, the New Zealand Meat Producers Board hereby fixes the rates of levy to be paid on each head of stock slaughtered on licensed premises to be:

Lambs .......................... 20 cents per head
Other Sheep and Goats ........... 29 cents per head
Bobby Calves (under 27 kg) ....... 24 cents per head
Vealers (27-159 kg) ............. 150 cents per head
Other Adult Cattle .............. 330 cents per head

These rates shall apply from 1 February 1981.

Meat Industry Authority (Notice No. 22, M.I.A. 3/7)

PURSUANT to section 6 (3) of the Meat Act 1964 (as inserted by section 4 of the Meat Amendment Act 1976), that part of Notice No. 2* exempting the area of the Hauraki Plains County Council, described below, from the requirement of section 6 of the Meat Act 1964, to be an inspected meat area, is hereby revoked:

Whole of district of Hauraki Plains County, as from time to time constituted.
