Committee, on 5 December 1980, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known at the Zetland Tavern, Christchurch.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Wellington Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Wellington Licensing Committee, on 17 December 1980, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Hutt Park Hotel, Petone.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) For the week preceding Christmas—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(d) On any New Years Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee, on 22 December 1980, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the T.H.C. Wairakei Hotel.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Commerce Act 1975—Special Approval of Maximum Selling Prices
I, David Pennington, acting pursuant to an Instrument of Delegation duly given to me by the Secretary of Trade and Industry under S. 120 of the Commerce Act 1975, hereby authorise in terms of S. 90 of the said Act, the following maximum selling prices, in respect of the following goods or services, sold or offered for sale by the persons specified hereunder, which authorisation is subject to the following special conditions.
SCHEDULE TO SPECIAL APPROVAL No. C2047 DATED 9 JANUARY 1981
- (1) In this Special Approval unless the context otherwise requires—“the said Act” means the Commerce Act 1975, “the said regulations” means the Butter and Cheese Marketing Regulations 1948.
(2) Terms and expressions defined in the said Act, or in the said regulations, when used in this Special Approval have the meanings severally assigned thereto by the said Act or by the said regulations as the case may be.
- The categories referred to in this Special Approval shall, as the case requires mean:
(a) Categories assigned at a grading store; or
(b) Categories assigned in a manufacturing dairy prescribed by regulation 26 of the said regulation; or
(c) Categories constructively assigned pursuant to subclause (4) of regulation 26 of the said regulation.
APPLICATION OF THIS SPECIAL APPROVAL

This Special Approval applies with respect to all sales in New Zealand by way of wholesale, or retail, of any butter (within the meaning of the said regulations) manufactured in New Zealand, except butter sold as ships’ stores for vessels sailing beyond New Zealand.

This Special Approval shall come into force on the 12th day of January 1981.
MAXIMUM PRICES FOR SALES OF BUTTER BY WAY OF WHOLESALE OR BY A MANUFACTURER TO A WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTOR TO WHICH THIS SPECIAL APPROVAL APPLIES:
- Subject to the provisions of this Special Approval the several maximum prices at which butter prepared in 500 gram packs or smaller portions may be sold by way of sale of wholesale shall be the following:
(a) In the case of salted creamery butter the standard of quality of which is not lower than Category 3 the price of 89.09c a 500 gram pack or 46.36c a 250 gram pack.
(b) In the case of salted creamery butter, the standard of quality of which is less than Category 3, the price of 88.96c a 500 gram pack.
(c) In the case of salted whey butter the standard of quality of which is not lower than Category 2 the price of 86.36c a 500 gram pack.

The price of butter sold in bulk by way of wholesale, being butter of one of the kinds and standards of quality set out in clause 5 of this Special Approval shall be 3 cents for each kilogram less than the respective price prescribed for butter of that kind and standard of quality by the said clause 5 hereof.

The price of unsalted creamery butter the standard quality of which is not lower than Category 3, and which is sold, whether in bulk or pats by way of sale by wholesale as aforesaid shall be 1c per 500 grams more than the respective price prescribed for salted whey butter by the foregoing provisions of clause 5 of this Special Approval.

The price of unsalted whey butter, the standard of quality of which is not lower than Category 2, and which is sold, whether in bulk or pats, by way of sale by wholesale as aforesaid shall be 1c per 500 grams more than the price prescribed for salted whey butter by the foregoing provisions of clause 5 of this Special Approval.

Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing provisions of this Special Approval, the price for any parcel of butter sold, whether in bulk or in pats, in a quantity of less than 25 kg, by way of sale by wholesale as aforesaid, being butter of one of the kinds and standards of quality set out in clause 5 of this Special Approval may (at the option of the vendor) be the sum of 5c per parcel more than the appropriate price prescribed for butter of that kind and standard of quality by the foregoing provisions of this order, and the said sum of 5c shall be added to the rates referred to in clause 10 of this Special Approval for the purpose of that clause.

In the case of sales by a manufacturer to a wholesale distributor, the prices at which butter shall be so sold shall be:
(a) For butter sold in bulk 7.284c a kilogram less than the price hereinbefore specified.
(b) For butter sold in a 500 gram pack; 3.642c a pack less than the price hereinbefore specified.
(c) For butter sold in a 250 gram pack; 2.04 cents a pack less than the price hereinbefore specified.
- Any butter sold in pursuance of the provisions of clauses 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 of this Special Approval shall be delivered freight free into the purchaser’s premises.
