(5) The Commission will, as soon as possible after 30 April,
distribute to registered parties copies of detailed guidelines
for submissions and advise the timetable and procedures it
intends to follow in undertaking this study.

(6) It is anticipated that these procedures will involve the
preparation and public distribution of a draft report based
on the submissions received in response to the guideline
questionnaires and the detailed information already provided
to the Commission arising from the work already carried out
by an inter-departmental study team. This draft report will
then be the subject of a public hearing following which
the Commission will prepare its final report.

Industries Development Commission Notice No. 1981/6—
Industry Study—Gloves

(1) During the course of its study of the New Zealand rubber
industry (see the Commission’s Notice No. 1981/4), the Com-
mission will inquire into that section of the industry engaged
in the production of rubber gloves.

(2) The Commission considers it appropriate to consider
the production of all gloves, regardless of Tariff classification.
It will, therefore, include the production of textile gloves
(Tariff headings 60.02, 60.06 and 61.10), plastic gloves (Tariff
heading 39.07), and leather gloves (Tariff headings 42.03,
43.03 and 43.04), as well as rubber gloves (Tariff heading
40.13) in this rubber industry study.

Parties who have an interest in any of the above products
are referred to Industries Development Commission Notice
No. 1981/4 for further details of this inquiry.
