PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the First Schedule hereto and hereby takes the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29 and declares that the road secondly described in the First Schedule hereto when so closed, shall be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948 and that the road thirdly described in the First Schedule hereto; when so closed, shall vest in Stephen James O’Connell of Lochiel, farmer, subject to mortgages No. 032221.2, 015800.4, 033399.1, 062285.1, and 041629.1; and declares that the land described firstly in the Second Schedule hereto shall vest in the Southland County Council.
