Cancelling the Reservation of Maori Freehold Land

PURSUANT to section 439 (5) (b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the reservation of Maori freehold land, known as Utakura 2D7B7 Block, situated in Block VIII, Mangamuka Survey District, North Auckland Land District, set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place and marae for the common use or benefit of the Ngatitoro sub-tribe, by a notice dated 17 February 1975, and published in New Zealand Gazette, of 20 February 1975, No. 15, p. 336, is hereby cancelled.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 6 March 1981, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Occidental Tavern.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On New Year’s Day, the day after New Year’s Day, Auckland Anniversary Day, Waitangi Day, Easter Monday, Queen’s Birthday, and Labour Day—Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On Anzac Day—Opening at 1 o’clock in the afternoon and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.

Freshwater Fish Farm Licence Granted

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to regulation 7 of the Freshwater Fish Farming Regulations 1972*, the Minister of Fisheries has granted to the South Pacific Salmon Company Limited a licence to farm quinnat salmon in the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece or parcel of land comprising approximately 2.35 hectares, more or less, situated below the Lake Coleridge powerhouse, as delineated on the plan number M.T. 102 held by the Fisheries Management Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries at Wellington.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that the following school has entered into the State educational system in accordance with the provisions of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, with effect from 2 March 1981.
