Declaring Land Taken for Railways Purposes at Te Kawa

PURSUANT to section 45 of the Government Railways Act 1949, and section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes, from and after the 23rd day of March 1981.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—WAIPA COUNTY

ALL that piece of land described as follows:

Area

5272 Part Section 1, Block X, Punui Survey District, being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title 1102/56, marked A on plan.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 30492 (S.O. 49693), deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon marked as above mentioned.

Declaring Land Set Apart for a Government Work (Railway Purposes) at Ross and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 23rd day of March 1981.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over the lands, described in the Schedule hereto, as reserves for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said lands, and further, declares that the said lands may be disposed of by the Waitemata City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s Reserves Account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—WAITEMATA CITY

1553 square metres, more or less, being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 46259, situated in Block XIV, Waitemata Survey District. Part certificate of title 1010/91. (Recreation Reserve and Road Reserve respectively.)

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been set apart as State forest land as from the date of publication hereof.

24.9080 hectares, more or less, being Section 22, Block XVI, Paeroa Survey District (document H. 103621.1, S.O. plan 47664), and shown on plan V17/2, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington. Section 22 is subject to a water easement created by H. 134802.

32.1143 hectares, more or less, being Section 39, Block IV, Takapau Survey District (S.O. 46886), and shown on plan V17/3, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington. Section 39 is subject to a right of way easement created by document No. H. 189933.

Prohibition of Hunting, Killing, or Being in Possession of Sambar Deer in the Wanganui, Rangitikei, Manawatu and Horowhenua Counties

PURSUANT to section 8 (3) of the Wild Animal Control Act 1977, the Minister of Forests hereby declares that the hunting, killing, or having in possession of sambar deer, Cervus unicolor, in the counties of Wanganui, Rangitikei, Manawatu, and Horowhenua by persons other than Forest Service employees, or persons holding valid permits to retain sambar deer in captivity, is prohibited from and including the 1st day of March 1981, for a period of 5 years expiring on the 29th day of February 1986.
