Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work (Nelson-Glenhope Railway) at Tapawera and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the land Act 1948 as from the 1st day of July 1979.

The Traffic (Tawa Borough) Notice No. 1, 1981
PURSUANT to the Transport Act, 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
N O T I C E
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tawa Borough) Notice No. 1, 1981.
The Traffic (Tawa Borough) Notice No. 1, 1968, dated the 22nd day of July 1968*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, is hereby revoked.

Sale of Wanganui Harbour Board Land
I, Colin Campbell Alexander McLachlan, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (b) of the said Act, the disposal by way of sale of the land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the Wanganui Harbour Board pursuant to section 143C of the said Act, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the date hereof.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land Registration District containing 3855 square metres, more or less, situated more or less in Block V, Ikitara Survey District, being part of Whakaniwha No. 2 4A and 4B, as described in certificate of title, Volume 18D, folio 1312; and
Secondly all that parcel of land in the said registration district containing 1484.7 square metres, situated more or less in Block V, Ikitara Survey District, and being part of Whakaniwha No. 2, as described in certificate of title, Volume 297, folio 62.
The said parcels of land being more particularly shown on plan M.D. 16046, which is held in the offices of the Ministry of Transport, at Aurora House, Wellington.

The Traffic (Taupo Borough) Notice No. 1, 1981
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
N O T I C E
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taupo Borough) Notice No. 1, 1981.
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the 20th day of December in each year and ending with the 10th day of February in the next ensuing year and the period commencing with the Thursday preceding Easter and ending with the Tuesday following Easter each year shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 50 kilometres an hour fixed by the said section, but, for the remainder of the year the said road is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
The Traffic (Taupo Borough) Notice No. 1, 1980, dated the 16th day of October 1980†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Taupo Borough.
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from the northern boundary of Taupo Borough to a point 100 metres measured northerly generally, along the said State Highway from Norman Smith Street; and from a point 320 metres measured southerly generally, along the said State Highway from Shepherd Road to the southern boundary of Taupo Borough.
No. 5 State Highway (Tirau-Napier via Rotorua and Taupo): from the south-eastern boundary of Taupo Borough to a point 60 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff).
Acacia Bay Road: from Norman Smith Street to the western boundary of Taupo Borough.
Spa Road: from Centennial Drive to the north-eastern boundary of Taupo Borough.
Tauhara Road: from Rifle Range Road to the eastern boundary of Taupo Borough.
SECOND SCHEDULE
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 320 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Shepherd Road to a point 100 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Mapou Road.
THIRD SCHEDULE
Tauhara Road: from Rifle Range Road to the eastern boundary of Taupo Borough.
