Notwithstanding any other provision of this notice, no person who is permitted by any such provision to propel or navigate a small craft at a speed through the water exceeding 5 knots shall do so in any manner that is likely to endanger or unduly annoy any person who is, in, on, or using the waters, or fishing, or undertaking any recreational activity in the vicinity of the small craft.

All persons in charge of a vessel shall adhere to and keep the provisions of all Acts and regulations not specifically exempted by this notice.

The Securities Act 1978—Proposed Recommendations for Securities Regulations
PURSUANT to section 70 (3) of the Securities Act 1978, notice is hereby given that the Securities Commission intends to make recommendations for the enactment of regulations under that Act. The recommendations will relate to the following matters:
(a) The regulation of advertising relating to public offering of securities;
(b) The content of prospectuses required for certain public offerings;
(c) Other incidental matters.
The text of the proposals and a commentary thereon may be inspected at the offices of the Commission, Level 6, Greencock House, 39 The Terrace, Wellington; and at the offices of each District Registrar of Companies. Copies may be purchased at a charge of $10 per copy from Government Bookshops.
Submissions of these proposals are requested by 28 February 1982.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori Reservation for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of the Mangarua Hapu of the Ngatiporou tribe.

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned overseas specification is being considered for declaration as a New Zealand Standard.

It is proposed to declare IEC 82:1980 as a New Zealand Standard to supersede NZS 2164: Part 1:1967, for certification mark purposes.
