Tauranga Community College Notice 1981
PURSUANT to section 69 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
(1) This notice shall be cited as the Tauranga Community College Notice 1981.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette. -
There shall be a board of governors to be known as the Tauranga Community College Council which shall control the Tauranga Community College.
-
The Tauranga Community College Council shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Tauranga City Council.
(b) One member appointed by the Mount Maunganui Borough Council.
(c) Two members appointed by the Tauranga County Council to represent the interests of eastern country areas and western country areas respectively.
(d) One member elected by the governing bodies of the secondary schools listed in the first Schedule to this notice.
(e) One member appointed by the Bay of Plenty Province Incorporation of Federated Farmers of New Zealand.
(f) One member appointed by the Tauranga Moana District Maori Council.
(g) One member appointed by the Bay of Plenty Fruit-growers Association.
(h) One member appointed by the council of the University of Waikato.
(i) One member who shall be resident in the area served by the college, appointed by the National Council of Women of New Zealand Incorporated.
(j) One member who shall be resident in the district served by the college appointed by the Bay of Plenty Trades Council.
(k) One member elected by the associations of employers in local industries.
(l) One member who shall be the principal of the Tauranga Community College.
(m) One member who shall represent the staff of the Tauranga Community College and who shall be
