OPOTIKI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR RECREATION RESERVE

NOTICE is hereby given that the Opotiki County Council intends to add certain lands to the reserve at Whanarua Bay, and for the purpose of such addition, the parcels of land described in the First Schedule hereto, are required to be taken for reserve pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a reserve.

And notice is further given, that plans showing the said parcels of land are deposited at the offices of the council, situated in Elliott Street, Opotiki, and may be inspected by all persons without fee, during ordinary office hours.

Any person affected should forth in writing, any objection he may wish to make to the acquisition of the said land not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and send the same to the Secretary, Planning Tribunal, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North, so as to reach him not later than 1 December 1981, being 40 days after the first publication of this notice. If any objection is received, a public hearing of the same will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND THE SCHEDULE TO THE CLEAN AIR ZONE (CHRISTCHURCH) ORDER 1977

Notice is hereby given:

(a) That the Christchurch City Council has made an application to the Minister of Health, pursuant to section 12 of the Clean Air Act 1972, to amend the Schedule to the Clean Air Zone (Christchurch) Order 1977, by including the following appliances and approved fuels:

  1. ‘Woodsman log burner’
    (a) Console unit
    (b) Inbuilt unit—manufactured by W. H. Harris Ltd., Christchurch.

    Approved Fuel
    Wood with a moisture content not exceeding 25 per cent (on wet weight) this being wood which has been cut and air dried usually for a period of not less than three months.

  2. ‘Warmaire Regency wood burner fireplace space heater’—manufactured by Warmaire Industries Ltd., Auckland.

    Wood with a moisture content not exceeding 25 per cent (on wet weight) this being wood which has been cut and air dried usually for a period of not less than three months.

(b) A copy of the application may be inspected at the Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday, during a period of 6 weeks from the date of the last publication of the notice.

(c) Within the said period any person who will be affected by the amendment may—by notice in writing to the Minister of Health and supplying a copy of the notice to the local authority—object to the recommendation.

NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD

PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the sale held on 22 October 1981 at Timaru was 266.18 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is below the Government's supplementary minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis), the specified percentage for supplementation will be 20.20 per cent for all wool sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from and including the 22nd day of October 1981 until midnight on the day before the next auction sale to be held.
