To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(c) On any New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock on the morning of New Year's Day.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Marlborough Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Marlborough Licensing Committee on 1 October 1981 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Trout Hotel, Canvastown.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Marlborough Licensing Committee on 1 October 1981, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Renwick Arms Hotel, Renwick.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori Reservation for the purpose of a marae and meeting place, and residential pensioner flats, for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of Motuti.

Cancelling the Reservation of Maori Freehold Land

PURSUANT to section 439 (5) (b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the reservation of Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, set apart for the purpose of a communal building site for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of the Te Kaha and surrounding districts constituted by a notice dated 7 August 1975 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 14 August 1975, No. 66, p. 1812 is hereby cancelled.

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1981, No. 28.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
