The Marriage (Approval of Organisations) Notice (No. 8)
1981
PURSUANT to the Marriage Act 1955, I, James Kenneth McLay, Minister of Justice, hereby give notice as follows:
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Marriage (Approval of Organisations) Notice (No. 8) 1981.

The organisation specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be an approved organisation for the purpose of the Marriage Act 1955.

Christchurch Roman Catholic Integrated Schools (Attendance Dues) Notice 1981
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice approving the charging of attendance dues at certain Christchurch Roman Catholic integrated primary schools.
NOTICE

This notice shall be cited as the Christchurch Roman Catholic Integrated Schools (Attendance Dues) Notice 1981.

The proprietor of:
Star of the Sea School, Sumner;
St James’ School, Aranui;
Our Lady of the Assumption School, Hoon Hay;
may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at any of the above mentioned schools requiring them to pay attendance dues.

The attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $60 per annum.

Attendance dues received by the proprietor may be used for the purpose of paying for such improvements to, or for such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of any of the above mentioned integrated schools as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens, or other charges associated with any of the land and buildings that constitute these integrated schools.

Dunedin Roman Catholic Integrated Schools (Attendance Dues) Notice 1981

This notice shall be cited as the Dunedin Roman Catholic Integrated Schools (Attendance Dues) Notice 1981.

St Patrick’s School, Nightcaps;
St Edmund’s School, South Dunedin;
St Francis Xavier School, Mornington;
St Mary’s School, Milton;
St Thomas’s School, Winton;
St Mary’s School, Kaikorai;
St Joseph’s School, Queenstown;
St Teresa’s School, Bluff;
St Mary’s School, Gore;
St John’s School, Ranfurly;
Sacred Heart School, Waikiwi;
may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at any of the above mentioned schools requiring them to pay attendance dues.

Gisborne and East Coast Regional Community College Notice 1981
PURSUANT to sections 69 and 96A of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Gisborne and East Coast Regional Community College Notice 1981.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of November 1981.
- Interpretation—In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires,
“Council” means the Gisborne and East Coast Regional Community College Council.
“East Coast region” means that part of the North Island of New Zealand within the counties of Cook, Waiapu, Waikohu, Wairoa, the borough of Wairoa, and the city of Gisborne.

Gisborne and East Coast Regional Community College—There shall be a board of governors to be known as the Gisborne and East Coast Regional Community College Council which shall control the Gisborne and East Coast Regional Community College.

Constitution of Council—The Council shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed jointly by the Gisborne City Council, the Cook County Council and the Gisborne High Schools Board;
(b) One member appointed jointly by the Wairoa Borough Council, the Wairoa County Council and the Wairoa College Board of Governors;
(c) One member appointed jointly by the Waikohu County Council and the Ngata Memorial College Committee of Management;
(d) One member appointed jointly by the Waikohu County Council and the Waikohu College Committee of Management;
(e) One member, who shall be resident in the East Coast region, appointed by the Hawke’s Bay Education Board;
(f) One member, who shall be resident in the East Coast region, jointly appointed by the Wellington District Employers’ Association (Gisborne Branch), the Gisborne Chamber of Commerce, and the Wellington Manufacturers Association (Gisborne Branch);
(g) One member appointed by the Gisborne District Trades Council;
(h) One member appointed by the Federated Farmers of New Zealand (Gisborne-Wairoa Province) Incorporated;
(i) Two members appointed by the Tairawhiti District Maori Council, one of whom shall be appointed in consultation with the Tairawhiti Regional Council of the Maori Women’s Welfare League;
(j) One member appointed by the National Council of Women (Gisborne) Inc.;
(k) One member who shall be the principal of the Gisborne and East Coast Regional Community College;
(l) One member who shall represent the staff of the Gisborne and East Coast Regional Community College, and who shall be elected by all the teachers and the full-time ancillary staff employed by the Council who are employed on a half-time or greater basis and who shall also be a half-time or greater employee of the Council;
