Meat Industry Authority (Notice No. 33, M.I.A. 3/3/4)—Declaring the Abolition of the Christchurch Abattoir District

THE Meat Industry Authority, having on 21 September 1981 accepted the withdrawal of an application for the retention of the Christchurch Abattoir District by CBP Industries Limited, hereby declares the said District abolished, pursuant to section 22A (1) of the Meat Act 1964 (as inserted by section 19 of Meat Amendment Act 1976).

Meat Industry Authority (Notice No. 31, M.I.A. 3/8/1)

PURSUANT to section 6 (3) of the Meat Act 1964, those parts of Notice No. 3* exempting the areas in the Schedule below from the requirement to be inspected meat areas are revoked with effect from 30 September 1981.

SCHEDULE

Buller County Council .... All that area of the County of Buller bounded in the west by the Tasman Sea, in the north by the south bank of the Kohaihai River, in the east by the boundary between the County of Buller and the County of Waimea, and in the south by the northern bank of the Mokihinui River.

Clutha County Council .... Catlins, Maclennan and South Molyneaux Ridings of the County of Clutha.

Meat Industry Authority (Notice No. 32, M.I.A. 3/8/1)

PURSUANT to section 3 (4) of Meat Amendment Act 1980, notice is hereby given that the part of Grey County Scheduled below has been granted an exemption from the provisions of section 6 of the Meat Act 1964 requiring it to be an inspected meat area.

SCHEDULE

THAT part of Grey County to the south-west of the Grey River bounded from a point commencing at Stillwater Creek to the junction of the Waipuna Road with the State Highway No. 7 to a limit defined by a line from where the Waipuna Road meets the Clarke River and from thence south to Mount Newcombe, south-west to Inchbonnie (including the settlement) and from there in a northerly direction following the road via Mitchells, Aratika, Kaimata, returning to the commencement point at Stillwater, but excluding the area of Kokiri west of Candlelight Creek.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws

I, Alexander King Ewing, Controller Marine Administration, pursuant to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby approve the Marlborough Harbour Board Amendment to Bylaw Schedule of Charges, passed and adopted at a special meeting of the Marlborough Harbour Board held on 25 August 1981.

Consent to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the under-signed Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities, mentioned in the Schedule hereto, of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
