Declaring Land Taken, Subject to Certain Rights, for the Purposes of the Fire Service Act 1975 in the City of Hastings

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken subject to fencing covenants in transfers 220102 and 220104, for the purposes of the Fire Service Act 1975 and shall vest in the New Zealand Fire Service Commission, from and after the 1st day of October 1981.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XV, Pakawau Survey District, Golden Bay County, for a Teacher’s Residence

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for a teacher’s residence the land described in the Schedule hereto such land to be used for additions to the Collingwood School for teacher housing. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Collingwood and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
