PURSUANT to section 45 of the Government Railways Act 1949 and section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes, from and after the 21st day of September 1981.

PURSUANT to section 15A of the Vocational Training Council Act 1968, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Engineering Industry Training Board Notice 1981.

  2. (1) The constitution of the industrial training board for the engineering industry known as the Engineering Industry Training Board is hereby varied so that the Board shall, after the publication of this notice, be constituted as follows:

(a) Four members appointed jointly by the New Zealand Engineering Employers’ Federation and the New Zealand Manufacturing Engineers’ Federation to represent trade groups in each district;

(b) One member appointed by the New Zealand Engineering Employers’ Federation;

(c) One member appointed by the Plastics Institute of New Zealand;

(d) Three members appointed by the New Zealand Engineering, Coachbuilding, Aircraft, Motor and Related Trades Industrial Union of Workers;
