Declaring Land Taken for Recreation and Community
Development in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District,
City of Upper Hutt

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a
sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into,
the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for recreation and community development and shall vest in
the Upper Hutt City Council from and after the 10th day
of September 1981 and that the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the rights
of way and water rights created by transfer No. 732727,
for recreation and community development and shall vest
in the Upper Hutt City Council from and after the 10th day
of September 1981.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of
Works and Development hereby:

(b) Stops the said road, and further, pursuant to section
35 of the Public Works Act 1928, declares the
stopped Government road to be Crown land, subject
to the Land Act 1948, as from the 10th day of
