Proclaiming Land Taken for Purposes of the Main South Railway at Pareora

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of September 1981.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—STRATHALLAN COUNTY

BOTH those pieces of land described as follows:

Parts Rural Section 3753, being parts of the land comprised and described in deeds C. 3753 (40D/ 399), respectively marked B and G in plan.

Situated in Block III, Patiti Survey District.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 32120 (S.O. 15187) deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon marked as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of September 1981.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 31st day of August 1981

THE RIGHT HON. DUNCAN MACINTYRE IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purposes for which it was acquired, together with, as to the land thirdly and fourthly described in the Schedule, the sewerage easement reserved by transfer 338577, Canterbury Land Registry.
