ROADS TO BE STOPPED IN THE KARAMU AREA
IN THE MATTER OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1974
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that The Raglan County Council proposes under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1974, to execute a certain public work namely the stopping of certain public roads as described in the Schedule hereto, and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the roads so required to be stopped are deposited at the offices of The Raglan County Council, at Great South Road, Ngaruawahia, and are there open for inspection. All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or to the stopping of the said roads set forth in writing and send the written objection to the office of the Council before the 1st day of October 1981 and if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN BLOCK VI, WAIHOU SURVEY DISTRICT FOR RIVER CONTROL
NOTICE is hereby given that the Hauraki Catchment Board and Regional Water Board proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for soil conservation and rivers control purposes the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for stopbank and river control works as part of the Piako River Scheme and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of the Hauraki Catchment Board and Regional Water Board, situated at 59 Whitaker Street, Te Aroha, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Tribunal, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector, will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

All those parcels of land containing 3.7797 hectares in total, being the land designated “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F” in Survey Office Plan 51402, being 3750 square metres, part Kopuraruwai 3B2C2C Block, 2.3440 hectares, part Kopuraruwai 2B2C2 Block, 557 square metres, part Kopuraruwai 3B2D2B Block, 1610 square metres, part Kopuraruwai 2A2C Block, and 8440 square metres, part Waipupu B Block respectively, situated in Block VI, Waihou Survey District. The said parcels of land adjoin the Piako River near Kerepehi and have been mainly occupied by the late James Conner.

NOTICE is hereby given that the land in the part of the Southland Catchment District described in the Schedule hereto has been classified under the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and the classification is deemed a valid classification as from the date on which this notice is first published, namely 22 August 1981.

ANGELICAN CHURCH TRUSTS BILL 1981
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO APPLY FOR LEAVE TO BRING IN A BILL
TAKE notice that the general synod of the Anglican Church is the promoter of the Anglican Church Trusts Bill 1981, a private Bill which it intends to apply for leave to introduce into the House of Representatives during the 1981 session.
The objects of the Bill are to widen the powers of trustees under trusts in connection with the Church of the Province of New Zealand and the Church of the Province of Melanesia and to provide for the administration of such trusts; to repeal the Church of England Trusts Act 1913 and its amendments; and provide a means for varying trusts held for religious or charitable purposes in connection with the Anglican Church, in addition to the means provided by the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, where it has become impossible or impracticable or inexpedient to carry out the trust objects or purposes.
