PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 27th day of August 1981.

Agreement for Grant of Right of Way in Favour of Wetere Paki and Hautahi Paki Over Land in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District, Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes, Assented to

WHEREAS by a declaration dated the 8th day of June 1981, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 18 June 1981, No. 72, page 1687, 2 acres 3 roods 29.9 perches, situated in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District, Raglan County, being parts of Allotment 23A12, Pepepe Parish, and being part certificate of title No. 8D/448, South Auckland Land Registry, were taken for soil conservation and river control purposes;

And whereas Wetere Paki and Hautahi Paki were entitled to compensation in respect of the taking of the said land;

And whereas the Minister of Works and Development has agreed to grant to the said Wetere Paki and Hautahi Paki a right of way over all that piece of land containing 6.3 perches, situated in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District, Raglan County, being part Allotment 23A12, Pepepe Parish, as shown on plan S.O. 46920, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton, and thereon coloured blue;

And whereas the said Wetere Paki and Hautahi Paki have agreed to accept such grant of right of way in part satisfaction of the said compensation;

Now therefore, the Minister of Works and Development hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Declared Crown Land, and Land Taken in Blocks IX and XIII, Hapuakohe Survey District, Waikato County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Waikato County Council; and also hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948; and also hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29, which land shall vest in the Waikato County Council.
