NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN THE BOROUGH OF GERALDINE FOR A ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Geraldine Borough Council proposes under provisions of the Local Government Act 1974 and the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the lands described in the Schedule hereto; and notice is further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Geraldine Borough Council, Talbot Street, Geraldine, and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should if they have any objection to the taking of the said land not being an objection as the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington, and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

  1. Legal Description—All that parcel of land containing 508 square metres, or thereabouts, situated in Block V, Geraldine Survey District, being part Lot 15, on Deposited Plan 1023, part of Rural Section 3159, and the balance of the land comprised in certificate of title 215/89, which land is shown on plan S.O. 10573 and is thereon coloured blue.

  2. General Description—All that parcel of land commonly known as “the saleyards corner” on the eastern side of MacKenzie Street, Geraldine, in front of the land formerly occupied by the Geraldine County Salyards Co. Limited (now occupied by the Geraldine Borough Council), and being between Flatman Crescent and George Street.

TAKAPUNA CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Takapuna City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to take the fee simple estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto for a certain public work namely a road.

The general purpose for which the land is to be taken is to be used as a road.

A plan showing the land required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Takapuna City Council, being numbered A1057 and being at the offices of the City Surveyor, South British Building, 507 Lake Road, Takapuna, and is there open for inspection.

Every person directly affected is called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation and to send the written objection within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, 175 The Terrace, Wellington.

If any objection is made in accordance with section 22 Public Works Act 1928, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

An estate in fee simple in all that piece of land containing 1.3251 hectares, more or less, marked “A” on the plan prepared by the Takapuna City Council and numbered A1057, being part of allotment 590, Parish of Paremoremo.

PUBLIC NOTICE

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

NOTICE is hereby given that at its ordinary meeting held at 6 p.m., Monday, 21 July 1980, the Auckland Regional Authority resolved to raise Drainage Loan No. 103 (1980) $27,447,763 for the purposes of and incidental to the construction of extensions to the Manukau Sewage Purification Works.

It was resolved that security for the said Loan shall be in terms of section 6 of the Auckland Regional Authority Amendment Act 1969.

The authority further resolved that a Sinking Fund of $0.67 per centum per annum where the term is for 6 years and $0.81 per centum per annum for all other terms be established for the purpose of repaying the loan.
