National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 16 July 1980, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 2, Maramarua River to Dimmock Road, for a width of 13 metres on the southern side commencing at the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 25786 (certificate of title 25C/1155), and extending westward 50 metres and covering land vested as road as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan L.A. 14/33/1, and accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Auckland, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 45 (New Plymouth to Hawera via Opunake), Ketemarae to Hawera section, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 and 2 of plan M.O.W. 16411, and accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, New Plymouth, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 16 July 1980, and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 22 July 1970*, made pursuant to the said section 4, insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the southern side commencing 20 metres east of the junction point of the western boundary of Lot 6, D.P. 527 (certificate of title E2/1300) with the highway and extending eastwards for 60 metres.

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 57 Levin to Potts Road section, as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan M.O.W. 36126 and accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Porirua, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 20 February 1980, and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 20 May 1974*, made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the western side commencing 20 metres north of the junction point of the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 50065 (certificate of title 20A/520) with the highway boundary and extending northwards for 75 metres across the frontages of the said Lot 1 and of part Lot 2, D.P. 25533 (certificate of title 20A/521).

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 16 July 1980, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 30 (Te Kuiti–Whakatane), from its junction with Maunders Road to its junction with S.H. 2, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 18 of plan L.A. 25/128/1, and accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Rotorua, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 16 July 1980, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 3A, Waitara to Inglewood section, for half its width on the western side commencing 120 metres south of the junction point of the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 13051 (certificate of title F1/227), with the State highway and extending 50 metres southwards across the frontages of the said Lot 1, Lot 1A (ROW), and Lot 2 (certificate of title F1/228), as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan L.A. 42/50/3, and accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, New Plymouth, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

PURSUANT to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of subclause (5) of regulation 9, subclause (11) of regulation 21, subclause (3) of regulation 24, and subclauses (3) and (4) of regulation 69 of the said Regulations, sirens of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.
