Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Canterbury Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Canterbury Licensing Committee on 20 June 1980 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club known as the Woolston Working Men's Club (Incorporated), Christchurch.

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

Pursuant to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Marlborough Licensing Committee on 19 June 1980, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Portage Hotel, Kenepuru Sound, Marlborough.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, and Saturday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

Pursuant to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 27 June 1980 made an order revoking its order made on the 6 May 1977 in respect of licensed premises known as the Nottingham Castle Hotel, Morrinsville, and further authorised variations of the usual hours of trading for the said premises as detailed hereunder.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday—Opening at 10 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

Cancelling the Reservation of Maori Freehold Land

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 439 (5) (b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the reservation of Maori freehold land, described in the Schedule hereto, set apart for the purpose of a papakainga or village, for the common use and benefit of the owners, constituted by Order in Council, dated 6 June 1927, and published in Gazette No. 39, of 9 June 1927, page 1981, is hereby cancelled.
