Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands
hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for scenic purposes,
over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Wellington Land District—Taumarunui County
4578 square metres, more or less, being Reserve D, Block I,
Hunua Survey District, part certificate of title 217/88, S.O.
Plan 16878.

This notice is issued in substitution for the notice dated 1
November 1979, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 22
November 1979, No. 107, p. 3616, and that notice is hereby
cancelled.

Control of Leeston Form I to VII High School

Pursuant to regulation 4 of the Education (Forms I to VII
Schools) Regulations 1976, the Minister of Education hereby
gives notice that he places Leeston Form I to VII High
School under the control of the Canterbury Education Board.

Paraparaumu College Board of Governors Notice 1980

Pursuant to section 54 of the Education Act 1964, the
Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Paraparaumu College
    Board of Governors Notice 1980.
    (2) This notice shall come into effect on the 1st day of
    August 1980.

  2. The Board of Governors of Paraparaumu College shall
    be constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Wellington Education
    Board;
    (b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
    (c) Seven members elected by the parents of pupils attend-
    ing the school;
    (d) Two members to be co-opted by the Board as and when
    it sees fit.

  3. The Kapiti College Board of Governors shall cease to
    control Paraparaumu College and the sole control of that
    school shall be vested in the Board of Governors constituted
    by clause 2 of this notice.

Kapiti College Board of Governors Notice 1980

Pursuant to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, the
Minister of Education gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Kapiti College Board
    of Governors Notice 1980.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of
    August 1980.

  2. There shall be a Board of Governors for Kapiti College
    which shall be constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Wellington Education
    Board;
    (b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
    (c) Seven members elected by the parents of pupils attend-
    ing the school;
    (d) Two members to be co-opted by the Board as and
    when it sees fit.

  3. This notice is in substitution for the Kapiti College Board
    of Governors Notice 1977*.

that the result of the weekly prize draw No. 4 for 28 June
1980 is as follows:

Change of Sitting Times—District Court, Hawera

Pursuant to section 22 (1) of the District Courts Act 1947,
the Minister of Justice approved the sitting days of the
District Court at Hawera to be two days each fortnight.

Approval of Qualified Person for the Purposes of Section 402,
Companies Act 1955

Pursuant to section 402 of the Companies Act 1955, I hereby
approve

Richard J. Atkinson, a member in the firm of Touche Ross
and Company, Victoria Cross, North Sydney, N.S.W.,
Australia, and a member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants in Australia; and

Gavan Michael Smith, a partner in the firm of Kent Bricley,
and Barraclough, and a member of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants in Australia;

to be qualified persons for the purposes of that section in
respect of the accounts of the Mutual Life Citizens Insurance
Company Limited.

The notice in the New Zealand Gazette, 14 June 1973, No.
56, p. 1121, in respect of Gavan Smith and James Owen Lygo
is hereby revoked.
