Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori Reservation, for the purpose of burial grounds, papakainga, recreation ground, fishing ground, bathing place, and place of historical interest, for the common use and benefit of the Puketapu Hapu.

Reappointment of Maori Wardens Under the Maori Community Development Act 1962
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 7 of the Maori Community Development Act 1962, as substituted by section 14 (3) of the Maori Purposes Act 1975, that the persons named in the Schedule hereto, have been reappointed as Maori wardens for a term of 3 years, for the areas of the Auckland and Aotea District Maori Councils.

Blue Mountains Recreational Hunting Area
Pursuant to section 27 of the Wild Animal Control Act 1977, the Director-General of Forests hereby gives notice that an area of approximately 22 300 hectares, being all of Beaumont State Forest No. 69, all of Rankleburn State Forest No. 107, and West Tapanui Forest No. 67, excluding Dusky Block, Tapanui Nursery, and the Conical Hill Mill site, shall form a recreational hunting area where hunting as a means of recreation shall be used to control (though not exclusively) the number of wild animals. The area shall be known as The Blue Mountains Recreational Hunting Area, the boundaries of which are shown on plan G45/1 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service, Wellington, and at the office of the Conservator of Forests, Invercargill. The following are the conditions under which the area may be used by the public.
CONDITIONS

No overnight camping except in huts or camps or other buildings expressly provided for that purpose shall be allowed. Details of these places may be obtained from the forest headquarters.

The lighting of fires shall be permitted only in huts, camps, or fireplaces provided expressly for that purpose and during periods specified on notices displayed at Rankleburn, Beaumont, and Tapanui headquarters, and on access entry roads.

No commercial hunting is allowed, except for the taking of opossums under Forest Service permit, or on the direction of the Conservator of Forests, as specified in the Wild Animal Control Plan for the area.

All hunters are required to obtain permits from the headquarters of the forest in which they intend to hunt, and to leave a hunter kill return in the receptacle provided at the headquarters on their leaving the forest.

No dogs or horses are allowed except under permit.

The Water Recreation (Porangahau River) Notice 1980
Pursuant to the Water Recreation Regulations 1979*, I, Robin Paul Taylor, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give the following notice:
NOTICE

(a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Porangahau River) Notice 1980.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette. -
Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 7 (1) (a), and (b), and 7 (2), of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979, shall not apply to the area specified in the First Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
All that area of the Porangahau River, from its source, to a point marked by a notice board erected on the west bank of the river, 400 metres upstream from the beach road bridge; as more particularly shown coloured red on plan M.D. 16011, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.
SECOND SCHEDULE

Notwithstanding any other provision of this notice, no person who is permitted by any such provision to propel or navigate a small craft at a speed through the water exceeding 5 knots, shall do so in any manner that is likely to endanger or unduly annoy any person who is in, on, or using the water, or fishing or undertaking any recreational activity in the vicinity of the small craft.

All persons in charge of a vessel shall adhere to and keep the provisions of all Acts and regulations not specifically exempted by this notice.

A suitable notice as may be approved by the Regional Marine Officer, Ministry of Transport, Wellington, shall be erected at sites deemed necessary by the Regional Marine Officer.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Marlborough Licensing Committee
Pursuant to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Marlborough Licensing Committee, on 29 May 1980, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Rai Valley Tavern, Rai Valley.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve), and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.
(c) On New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day.
