Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block X, Rotoiti Survey District, Rotorua District for a Limited Access Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for a limited access road the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for the widening and realignment of State highway 33; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Rotorua and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 36.1 perches, situated in Block X, Rotoiti Survey District, being part Whakapoungakau 1B3C2 Block; as shown on plan S.O. 39788, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton, and thereon coloured sepia.

The said piece of land is situated 1.5 kilometres south of the Mourea Post Office.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road, the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used in connection with the widening and realignment of state highway 33; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Rotorua and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, not being any objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 26th day of June 1980, and also hereby declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 26th day of June 1980, together with the water rights created by conveyance No. 99305 (163/322), and subject to the water and incidental rights reserved by conveyance No. 83645 (139/91).
