Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VI, Tauhara Survey District, Taupo County for a Limited Access Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a limited access road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Taupo, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, if they have any objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 8.2 perches, situated in Block VI, Tauhara Survey District, being part Tauhara Middle 4A1R2 Block; as shown on plan S.O. 43643, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton, and thereon coloured sepia.

The said piece of land is situated adjoining the eastern side of State Highway 1, opposite the intersection with Tawhaa Road, Wharewaka Point.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Nelson City Council.
