Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XIV, Horohoro
Survey District, Rotorua District for Road and the Use,
Convenience or Enjoyment of a Road

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the pro-
visions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land
described in the First Schedule hereto for road, and the land
described in the Second Schedule hereto for the use, con-
venience, or enjoyment of a road, such land to be used for
realignment and widening of State Highway 30, Atiamuri-
Rotorua section; and notice is hereby further given that the
plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the
post office at Rotorua, and is there open for inspection; that
all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land
should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said
land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation, make a written objection and send it within
40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the
Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection
is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of
the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise
requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and
place of the hearing.

Declaring Additional Land Taken for a Government Work
(Railway Purposes) at Mercer and Not Now Required for

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in
the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land
Act 1948, as from the 16th day of June 1980.

The Traffic (Waitemata City—Lincoln/Te Atatu Wards)
Notice No. 1, 1980

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitemata City—
Lincoln/Te Atatu Wards) Notice No. 1, 1980.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are excluded
from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the
Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas
pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Waitemata City—Lincoln/Te Atatu Wards)
Notice No. 1, 1978, dated the 20th day of September 1978†
issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and
regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is hereby
revoked.
