Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at
Licensed Premises—West Coast Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962
as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amend-
ment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for
Justice, hereby given notice that the West Coast Licensing
Committee, on 5 December 1979, made an order authorising
variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed
premises set out in the Schedule below.
To the intent that on days other than those on which
licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and
closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
(not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)—
Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing
at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve)
and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the
morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.
(c) On New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the
morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning
of New Year's Day.

as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amend-
ment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for
Justice, hereby give notice that the Manawatu Licensing
Committee, on 14 December 1979, made an order authorising
variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed
premises known as the Cafe de Paris Tavern, Palmerston
North.
To the intent that on days other than those on which
licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and
closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
(not being New Year's Eve or Christmas Eve)—

Licensed Premises—Birkenhead Licensing Trust
PURSUANT to section 34B (10) of the Licensing Trusts Act
1949 as amended by section 14 of the Licensing Trust Amend-
ment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for
Justice, hereby give notice that the Birkenhead Licensing
Trust applied for orders which were granted at the Magistrate's
Court at Auckland, on 12 December 1979, which authorised
variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the
public and further authorised the following hours of trading
for the licensed premises known as the Birkenhead Inn.
To the intent that on days other than those on which
licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the public the hours for the opening and closing
of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
(not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)—
Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing
at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve)—
Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing
at 11 o'clock in the evening.
(c) On Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning
and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening, but during
the period from 10 o'clock in the evening to
11 o'clock in the evening the said premises shall only
be open in respect of the Bass Bar.
(d) On New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the
morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning
of New Year's Day but during the period from
10 o'clock in the evening to 00.30 o'clock in the
morning of New Year's Day the said premises shall
only be open in respect of the Bass Bar.
