Declaring Road Taken for Railway Purposes at Kaiapoi

Pursuant to section 45 of the Government Railways Act 1949 and sections 32 and 216 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes, on and after the 19th day of May 1980.

SCHEDULE

Canterbury Land District—Eyre County

Both those pieces of land described as follows:

Situated in Block XV, Rangiora Survey District.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 31520 (S.O. 14778), deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon marked as above mentioned.

Railway Land Proclaimed as Road at Kaiapoi

Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby proclaims as road and vests in the Eyre County Council the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Sale of Taranaki Harbours Board Endowment Land

I, Colin Campbell Alexander McLachlan, Minister of Transport, pursuant to the powers vested in me by sections 143A and 143c (1) (h) of the Harbours Act 1950 and with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, do hereby specifically approve the sale by private treaty of the land vested in the Taranaki Harbours Board and described in the Schedule hereto subject to the condition that the Taranaki Harbours Board shall apply the proceeds from the sale approved hereunder for the purchase of land and any improvements thereon, such land to be acquired in the name of the board as an endowment to replace the endowment so sold, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the 12th day of May 1980.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land situated in the Land Registration District of Taranaki in the City of New Plymouth, comprising 1354 square metres, more or less, being Lots 9–15 inclusive D.P. 2609, and being part certificate of title, Volume 140, folio 33, subject to Order in Council No. 274.
