The Traffic (Strathallan County) Notice No. 1, 1979
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Strathallan County) Notice No. 1, 1979.
-
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
-
The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The notice dated the 28th day of November 1962†, issued pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Levels County at Pleasant Point, is hereby revoked.

The notice dated the 14th day of November 1955‡, issued pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, which related to roads situated within Levels County at Pleasant Point, is hereby revoked.

Employers Association Training Board Notice 1979
PURSUANT to section 15A of the Vocational Training Council Act 1968, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Employers Association Training Board Notice 1979.
-
(1) There shall be an industrial training board for the employers which shall be known as the Employers Association Training Board and shall comprise the following members:
(a) Five members appointed by the New Zealand Employers Federation, one of whom shall be chairman;
(b) Two members appointed by the Industrial Relations Centre, Victoria University of Wellington;
(c) One member appointed by the New Zealand Federation of Labour;
(d) One member appointed by the Director-General of Education;
(e) One member appointed by the Secretary of Labour;
(f) One member appointed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Vocational Training Council.

In addition to the members specified in subclause (1) of this clause, the board may co-opt not more than three additional members.

(1) Subject to the provisions of the clause the appointed members shall hold office for a period of 3 calendar years, but may from time to time be reappointed.
(2) Any co-opted member shall hold office during the pleasure of the board for a period not exceeding 3 years, but may, if eligible, be reappointed.
(3) If any member dies or resigns his office by writing under his hand addressed to the board or the chairman or the secretary thereof, or is absent without leave from the meetings of the board for three consecutive meetings, or while holding office becomes for any reason ineligible to remain a member of the casual vacancy so created shall be filled as soon as practicable thereafter by the appointment of a member in the manner in which the vacating member was appointed, and the member appointed to fill the vacancy shall hold office for the residue of the term of office of the member who he replaces.
(4) Unless he sooner vacates his office every appointed member of the board shall continue in office until his successor comes into office.
(5) The powers of the board shall not be affected by any vacancy in the membership thereof.
- (1) A deputy member may be appointed, in the same manner as an appointed member, to be the deputy of that member and act in the event of the absence of that member from any meeting of the board.
(2) While any person is acting pursuant to subclause (1) of this clause he shall be deemed to be a full member of the board. The fact that any person so acts shall be sufficient evidence of his authority to do so.
