Change of Address of Hospital Board Clinic Specified as Place at Which Controlled Drugs May be Prescribed, Administered, or Supplied for the Purpose of Treating Persons Dependent on Controlled Drugs

  1. Notice is hereby given that the Minister of Health, pursuant to section 24 (5) (b) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, has specified the Hospital Board Clinic named in the Schedule hereto as a place at which controlled drugs may be prescribed, administered or supplied for the purpose of treating persons dependent on controlled drugs.

  2. The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of 20 October 1977, No. 107 at page 2759, and relating to the Auckland Hospital Board's Clinic at Saint Stephen's Avenue, Parnell, Auckland, is hereby revoked.

Revocation of a Licence to Possess a Controlled Drug

Notice is hereby given that the Minister of Health, pursuant to regulation 11 (1) (a) of the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 1977, has revoked the licence to possess a controlled drug (10/533) issued to Alvin Cyril Shaw, Manapouri on 30 August 1979.

New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement

Application for the Approval of Goods as Determined Imported Materials—Notice 1980/3

Notice is hereby given that application has been made to Australia for the approval of the goods described in the Schedule hereto, as determined imported materials in accordance with Australian legislation relating to the rules governing the origin of goods "wholly manufactured".

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to New Zealand supporting these applications should do so in writing on or before 24 April 1980. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, tariff item and description of the goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, for the attention of the Director Trade Division, and be supported by information as to the quality, range, supply, etc., of the goods or suitable alternative goods produced in New Zealand.

3.3 Bi-metal hacksaw blanks 12" x ½" x 0.025", comprising high speed steel (M2 quality) cutting edge electron beam welded to a spring steel back (EN 47 quality), Supplied in the annealed condition with radiused ends and punched pin holes.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification.

DZ 3115 Concrete poles for electrical transmission.

This draft is a revision of NZS 1054:1966.
It defines requirements for design, manufacture, and testing of reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete poles for electrical transmission.
A chart on pole sizes is included to rationalize the number of sizes currently being used.
