PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Waikato County Council.

State Forest Land Set Apart as Dedicated Areas—Westland Conservancy
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Forests Act 1949 (as inserted by section 2 of the Forests Amendment Act 1973, and amended by section 5 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), the Minister of Forests hereby gives notice that the various areas of land described in the Schedule hereto are hereby set apart and dedicated for the purposes of protection, maintenance, and management of trees and other plants, and for the protection of the natural environment and native wildlife consistent with the proper use and management of State forest land. The various areas of State forest land so dedicated shall be known by the names shown.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—BULLER, GREY, AND WESTLAND COUNTIES
GREENSTONE ECOLOGICAL AREA being part R1605 and part R1661, situated in Blocks VIII and XII, Waima Survey District, and Blocks V and IX, Hohonu Survey District: area, 1144 hectares (State Forest by New Zealand Gazette, 1940, page 1788, and 1962, page 623) as more particularly delineated on S.O. 10130. As shown on plan S51/23 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.
Three Mile Hill Ecological Area being part R1662 and part R2005, situated in Blocks IX and XIII, Hohonu Survey District: area, 176 hectares (State Forest by New Zealand Gazette, 1919, page 1288, and 1957, page 534) as more particularly delineated on S.O. 10131. As shown on plan S51/24 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.
Deadman Ecological Area being part R1707, situated in Block XI, Mawheranui Survey District: area, 240 hectares (State Forest by New Zealand Gazette, 1940, page 1789) as more particularly defined on S.O. 10133. As shown on plan S44/5 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.
Roaring Meg Ecological Area being part R1591, part R1592, and part R1693, situated in Blocks X, XIII, XIV, and XV, Waiwhero Survey District, and Blocks II and III, Mawheranui Survey District: area, 3600 hectares (State Forest by New Zealand Gazette, 1920, page 2837, and 1941, page 3089) as more particularly delineated on S.O. 10134.
