WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the Local Government Act 1974, to take for road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office situated in Clyde Road, Fendalton, and in the office of the Waimairi County Council situated on the corner of Jeffreys and Clyde Roads, Fendalton, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within forty (40) days after the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary, Planning Tribunal, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 71 square metres, fronting Memorial Avenue, and being part of Lot 1, D.P. 8439, part Rural Section 939, Block X, Christchurch Survey District, being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 399, folio 53 (Canterbury Registry), and being part of the land situated at 135 Clyde Road.

MARLBOROUGH COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A RECREATION GROUND

Notice is hereby given that the Marlborough County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely a recreation ground, and for the purpose of such public work it is proposed to take the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the public office of the Marlborough County Council situated in Henry Street, Blenheim, and is there open for inspection to all persons during ordinary office hours.

And that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation), set forth the same in writing and send such notice within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Planning Tribunal, Wellington.

And that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection shall be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

MARLBOROUGH LAND REGISTRY

3891 square metres, being part Section 163, Wairau District, being described in deeds index A/931 and more particularly shown as area “A” on Survey Office Plan 5601T. The land is shown as Ramilles Street on the planning maps of the proposed Marlborough County Council District Scheme, between High and Oudenarde Streets, Renwick.

LAKE COUNTY COUNCIL

Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Council proposes, in pursuance of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto in connection with the road realignment of the Arrowtown-Lake Hayes Road, commonly known as McEntyres Hill.

A plan of the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the office of the Lake County Council, Ballarat Street, Queenstown, and is open for public inspection without fee during normal office hours.

All persons having objection to the proposed taking of land must state their objection in writing and send the same to the Secretary, Planning Tribunal, Private Bag, Wellington, within 40 days of the 28th day of February 1980, being the date of the first publication of this notice.

If any such objection shall be made, a public hearing will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and the place of hearing.

SCHEDULE

Portions of land situated in Block VII, Shotover Survey District, in the Otago Land District to be taken as follows:

    (b) In connection with road diversion, 680 square metres, coloured yellow on S.O. 17485; 2,112 square metres, coloured yellow on S.O. 17485; and 2 square metres, coloured yellow on S.O. 17485.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL

Notice of Intention to Change Purpose of Land from Land for the Purpose of a Yard for Corporation Purposes and Recreation Purposes to Land for Housing Purposes

It is hereby publicly notified that the Christchurch City Council proposes, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, to change to housing purposes the land firstly described in the Schedule hereto, and the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto being land held for recreation purposes.

SCHEDULE

FIRSTLY, all that parcel of land situated in the City of Christchurch, containing 632 square metres, or thereabouts, being Rural Section 40641, comprising all of certificate of title, Volume 16B, folio 851 (Canterbury Registry), being more particularly defined in Gazette notice 71376/1.

Secondly, all that parcel of land situated in the City of Christchurch, containing 20 square metres, or thereabouts, being described in Proclamation 1730 as recreation ground vested in the Christchurch City Council.

The above Schedule relates to land lying between Waimea Terrace and Fisher Avenue, part of which was originally part of the old bed of the Heathcote River.

Any person having an objection to this proposal is required to submit his objection in writing to the undersigned not later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 9 April 1980.

BUILDING SOCIETIES ACT 1965

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 34 (3)

Notice is hereby given that Tararua Permanent Building Society whose registered office is at 41 Perry Street, Masterton, desires to transfer its engagements to Wairarapa Permanent Building Society (formerly North Wairarapa Building & Investment Society), and that the first-named society has applied to the Registrar of Building Societies to confirm the transfer notwithstanding that the consent in writing of the holders of two-thirds of the whole number of shares in the said society has not been obtained in manner required by the Building Societies Act 1965.

The application will be heard on the 28th day of March 1980.

Any person wishing to be heard on such application should apply by letter to the Registrar of Building Societies, Government Life Insurance Buildings, P.O. Box 1062, Wellington, at least 7 days before the date of the hearing.
