hereto for road and for the use, convenience, or enjoyment
of a road, and under the provisions of the Local Govern-
ment Act 1974, the stopping of certain public roads as
described in the Third Schedule hereto.
And notice is hereby further given that the plans of the
lands so required to be taken and the roads so required to
be stopped are deposited at the offices of the Waikato
County Council, Clyde Street, Hamilton East, and there
open for inspection.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
works or by the taking of the said lands for road or by
the taking of the said lands for the use, convenience, or
enjoyment of a road, or by the stopping of the said public
roads should, if they have any objections to the execution
of the said public works or to the taking of the said lands
for road or to the taking of the said lands for the use,
convenience, or enjoyment of a road, not being objections
to the amount or payment of compensation set forth in
writing, and send the written objection within 40 days of
the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the
Planning Tribunal Division, Department of Justice, Postal
Centre, Private Bag, Wellington.
If they have any objections to the stopping of the said
public roads, they should send their written objections to
the offices of the County, Clyde Street, Hamilton East; and
if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a
public hearing of the objection will be held unless the
objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.

PAPAKURA CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
Notice is hereby given that the Papakura City Council
proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928 to take for the purposes of a cemetery the land described
in the Schedule hereto, which land is situated in Rogers Road,
Drury.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the
land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the
Papakura City Council situated in Coles Crescent, Papakura,
and is there open for inspection without fee to all persons
during ordinary office hours.
All persons directly affected by the taking of the said land
should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said
land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation, make a written objection and send it within
40 days from the 23rd day of February 1980, being the date
of the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary, Town
and Country Planning Appeal Board, Tribunal Division,
Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington.

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER
Change of Rating System
As less than 15 percent of the ratepayers of the Piako County
Council demanded a poll, public notice is hereby given that
a meeting of the Piako County Council held on the 4th day
of February 1980 a resolution was passed by way of special
order changing the rating system from land value to capital
value.
Purport of Resolution:
That the Piako County Council change from the land value
rating system to the capital value rating system as from
1 April 1980, and that in conjunction with such change,
the Council adopt a system of rating on a differential
basis in respect of all rateable properties within the Piako
County less than .3333 hectare in area, and upon which
a dwelling is shown on the valuation roll assessment and
which is not zoned commercial or industrial in terms of
the Piako County Operative District Planning Scheme.

TE PUKE BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of
the Borough of Te Puke on the proposal of the above-named
local authority to raise a loan of $350,000, to be known as
the Municipal Buildings Loan 1979, $350,000 for the purpose of
erecting and furnishing replacement municipal buildings
and reimbursing general account amounts expended on working
drawings, resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 254.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was
829.
The number of informal votes was 5.
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of
the Shannon District Community Council taken on the 16th
day of February 1980 on the proposal of the above-named
local authority to raise a loan of $380,500, to be known as
the Shannon Water Supply Loan 1979 for the purpose of
upgrading the Shannon Water Supply, resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 99.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 118.
The number of informal votes was 6.
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
