Fire Districts Boundaries (Napier) Notice 1980

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fire Districts Boundaries (Napier) Notice 1980.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the 1st day of March 1980.

2. Fire District Boundaries—The boundaries of the following fire districts have been altered and shall henceforth be as defined in the Schedules hereto:

(a) the Napier Fire District being all that area described in the First Schedule hereto;

(b) the Hastings Fire District being all that area described in the Second Schedule hereto;

(c) the Waipukurau Fire District being all that area described in the Third Schedule hereto;

(d) the Porongahau Fire District being all that area described in the Fourth Schedule hereto;

(e) the Takapau Fire District being all that area described in the Fifth Schedule hereto;

(f) the Waipawa Fire District being all that area described in the Sixth Schedule hereto;

(g) the Dannevirke Fire District being all that area described in the Seventh Schedule hereto;

(h) the Norsewood Fire District being all that area described in the Eighth Schedule hereto; and

(i) the Ormondville Fire District being all that area described in the Ninth Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NAPIER FIRE DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast being the southern corner of part Pakuratahi 1B4B, situated in Block VIII, Puketapu Survey District, and proceeding southerly generally along the sea coast to the middle of the Clive River; thence up the middle of that river to the western side of Pakowhai Road; thence northerly along the western side of Pakowhai Road to the middle of the Ngaruroro River; thence westerly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the western boundary of Omahu 2D3Y; thence northerly to and along that boundary to Taibape Road and along a right line to the south-western corner of Omahu 2E3A; thence northerly generally along the western boundaries of Omahu 2E3A, part 2E3B, 2T, and 2E1 Blocks and the south-western, western, and north-western boundaries of Lot 15, D.P. 3099, to the southern corner of Lot 2, D.P. 3622; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 3622, Lots 17, 18, and parts Lot 19, Lot 20 and Lot 21, D.P. 3099, to the south-eastern boundary of the south-east part of Lot 20, D.P. 3630; thence south-westerly north-westerly, and north-easterly along the south-eastern, south-western, and north-western boundaries of the said part of Lot 20 to the western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 6446; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 6446, Lot 2 and part Lot 1, D.P. 3536, Sections 21, 20, 28, and 11, Block VI, Hertaunga Survey District, Lot 7, D.P. 10126, Lot 4, D.P. 14586, to Motea Pa Road and along a right line to the western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 16025, and along the north-western boundary of the said Lot 1 and its production to the middle of the Tutaekuri River; thence westerly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 14061; thence north-easterly to and along that boundary to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 14061, to Dartmoor Road and along a right line to the southern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 4803; thence northerly generally along the south-eastern, north-eastern, and south-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 1 and the south-eastern boundaries of part Lot 1, D.P. 4803, to the southern boundary of part Block 73, Puketapu Crown Grant District; thence north-easterly generally along the southern and eastern boundaries of parts Block 73, Puketapu Crown Grant District and the south-eastern boundaries of part Lot 2, D.P. 8666, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the east side of Seafield Road; thence north-easterly generally along that side of Seafield Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 8666; thence to and along that boundary and the eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 6541, to the northern boundary of Lot 2, Deeds Plan 631; thence easterly along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of the said Lot; thence north-easterly along a right line to the south-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 3189; thence northerly generally along the western boundaries of the said Lot 1 to its north-western corner; thence north-easterly along a right line to the western corner of Lot 2, D.P. 4253; thence north-easterly generally along the north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 4253, and the western and north-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 4253, to No. 5 State Highway and along a right line across No. 5 State Highway and the Palmerston North - Gisborne Railway to the western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 15604; thence along the north-western boundary of the said Lot 1 and its production to the middle of the Esk River; thence down the middle of that River to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 12869; thence north-easterly generally to and along the western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 12869; the western and northern boundaries of part Lot 1, D.P. 3177, the south-western and north-western boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 13239, and the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 12249, to the north-west corner of the said Lot 1; thence easterly generally along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Petane Block to No. 2 State Highway; thence easterly along a right line to the point of commencement.
