Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Franklin County Council on the 14th day of July 1980:

That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Franklin County Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said county in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a reserve for local purpose (site for public hall) within the meaning of the said Act.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves Specifying the Manner of Disposal

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as reserves for access purposes over the lands, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said lands may be disposed of by the Marlborough County Council at nil consideration, provided that a sum equal to the current market value of the said land is paid by Council into its reserves account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Appointment of the New Zealand Historic Places Trust to Control and Manage a Reserve
