Amending a Notice Closing Road and Vesting in Block IX, Mangatoro Survey District, Dannevirke County

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 12th day of May 1980, published in Gazette, 22 May 1980, No. 58, at page 1491, closing road and vesting in Block IX, Mangatoro Survey District, Dannevirke County, by omitting the words “S. J. Mitchell and Company Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Dannevirke, subject to memoranda of mortgage Nos. 153206 and 371670.1, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry” and substituting the words “Kentucky Farming Company Limited, at Waipukurau, subject to memoranda of mortgage Nos. 377215.4 and 377215.5, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry”.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road purposes and also hereby declares that the said pieces of land shall vest in the Lower Hutt City Council from and after the 20th day of November 1980.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block X, Norsewood Survey District, Dannevirke County, for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule hereto such land to be used for the approaches to the proposed bridge over the Mangatawai-ti Stream.

And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Dannevirke and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods, 12.4 perches (2337 square metres), situated in Block X, Norsewood Survey District, being Section 62R; as shown on plan S.O. 4259, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Norsewood and thereon coloured green.

The said piece of land is situated on State Highway 2 at Matamau, near Dannevirke.
