Appointment of the Minister of Internal Affairs to Control and Manage a Reserve and Declaration that the said Reserve Shall be Subject to the Provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Minister of Internal Affairs to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for Government purpose (wildlife management), and further declares that the said reserve shall be subject to the provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953.

Disposal of Lyttelton Harbour Board Land

I, Colin Campbell Alexander McLachlan, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (b) of the said Act, the disposal by way of exchange of the land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the Lyttelton Harbour Board pursuant to section 143c of the said Act, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

FIRSTLY that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land Registration District containing 506 square metres, situated in the City of Christchurch, being part of Town Section 525, as described in certificate of title, Volume 422, folio 67, and

Secondly all that parcel of land in the said Registration District, containing 835 square metres, situated in and comprising part of sections 522 and 525, of the City of Christchurch, as described in certificate of title, Volume 177, folio 30.

The said parcels of land being more particularly shown marked blue on plan M.D. 16034, which is held in the offices of the Ministry of Transport at Aurora House, Wellington.

Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977—Property Not to be Disposed of by Way of Prize Competition, or Lottery

PURSUANT to the power and authority vested in him by section 70 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby revokes the notice set out in the Second Schedule hereto, and hereby notifies for public information that the property or class of property set out in the First Schedule hereto shall not be disposed of by way of prize competition or lottery.
