Appointing a Non-elective Member of the Hawke's Bay Catchment Board

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby appoints the person who is the holder for the time being of the office of Farm Advisory Officer (Agricultural Engineering), Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Hastings, to be a non-elective member of the Hawke's Bay Catchment Board in place of the person holding the office of Fields Superintendent, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, Hastings.

Waikato Valley Authority Order 1980

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Waikato Valley Authority Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order:

  1. Waikato Valley Authority Order—(1) This order shall be known as the Waikato Valley Authority Order 1980. (2) This order shall come into force the day after the date of notification in the Gazette.

  2. Constitution of the Authority—The Waikato Valley Authority shall consist of 14 elective members with representation of such elective members as follows:

  1. Appointment of Principal Local Authorities—The local authorities with the notation (P) following their names are hereby appointed principal local council within the meaning and for the purposes of section 6 (3) of the Waikato Valley Authority Act 1956.

  2. The Order in Council, dated the 25th day of October 1977 and published in Gazette of 24 November 1977, No. 120, p. 3087, is hereby revoked.

to be Harbourmaster for the Port of Waverley; and also hereby appoints

David Wood Boyes

to be Harbourmaster for the Port of Waverley in the absence of Edgar Gerald Boyack.
