The Lyttelton Borough Council Electric Lines Licence 1980

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Electricity Act 1968, the
Minister of Energy licenses the Lyttelton Borough Council
to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines
described in the Schedule hereto. This licence is issued subject
to the following conditions:

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence may be cited as the Lyttelton Borough
    Council Electric Lines Licence 1980.
  2. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
    the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, and the Electrical
    Wiring Regulations 1976, shall be incorporated herein and
    shall form part of this licence, except insofar as they may be
    inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.
  3. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by
    the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the
    Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the Radio Interference
    Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amend-
    ment thereof or in substitution therefor, except insofar as they
    may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.
  4. The systems of supply shall be as described in para-
    graphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (h) of Regulation
    15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976.
  5. This licence shall come into force on the 1st day of April
    1980 and shall continue in force for a period of 21 years
    from that date unless it is sooner lawfully determined.
  6. Those electric lines which the licensee is authorised by
    this licence to erect and use for the purpose of supply within
    the supply areas of the Christchurch City Council and the
    Heathcote County Council shall be used by the licensee solely
    for the supply of the licensee's waterworks installations and
    for the supply of the consumer referred to in paragraph 3
    (b) (ii) of the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
ELECTRIC LINES

  1. Lines for the transmission and supply of electricity in
    all that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a
    line commencing at a point being the north-west corner of
    Rural Section 23561 thence easterly along the southern side
    of the old closed road which forms the northern boundary
    of the said Section 23561 and intersects Rural Sections 1891,
    24815, and R.3816 to Reserve 101; thence along the north-west
    and north-east boundaries of that reserve, and continuing
    easterly along the northern boundary of Rural Section 34917
    through geodetical station, Mount Pleasant, and east on a
    bearing of 86° 11' to the southern side of the old closed road
    intersecting Rural Sections 24077 and 24814; thence along that
    said closed road following along the eastern side of Rural
    Section 500, and intersecting Rural Sections 27533, 33906,
    and along the southern side of the track in continuation and
    intersecting Rural Section 205, to Evans Pass; thence across
    the Lyttelton-Sumner Road, and northerly along that road to
    and along the old closed road intersecting Rural Sections 21418,
    55, and 33903 (part of which road is now numbered Rural
    Sections 36825 and 36826), thence along a line due south
    through trigonometrical station MM to the mean high-water
    mark of the Lyttelton Harbour; thence proceeding westerly
    along the mean high-water mark of the said harbour to the
    approach of the Gladstone Pier; thence along lines bearing 269°
    57', 37.36 metres, 53° 53', 30.74 metres, and 358° 21' 30", 34.20
    metres which form the western boundary of the land in
    Proclamation, New Zealand Gazette, dated 2 March 1922,
    page 570; thence along the western boundary of the Road
    Reserve and right-of-way which follow approximately along
    the original boundary of the sea mentioned in New Zealand
    Statutes, 1867, page 334, thence generally along the original
    southern boundary of the borough (New Zealand Statutes,
    1867, page 334) to and including the area in Proclamations
    in New Zealand Gazettes, dated 31 August 1872, and 17
    September, 1885; thence again following the old original
    boundary mentioned in New Zealand Statutes, 1867, page
    334, aforesaid, to a point where it meets a public road
    (formerly Reserve 4394); thence following along that road
    bearing 84° 02' 30"; thence along the northern boundary of
    Reserve 4167; thence again along the aforesaid road (formerly
    Reserve 4395) bearing 84° 02' 30" and 130° 42' 30", thence
    along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of
    Reserve 4167 to and along the southern boundary of Reserve
    4250; thence again to and along the south-western boundary
    of Reserve 4167 to Erskine Point; thence generally in a
    westerly direction by the mean high-water mark to the eastern
    boundary of Maori Reserve 875; thence in a northerly direction
    along the said eastern boundary of Maori Reserve 875 to and
    along the western boundary of Rural Section 23561, to the
    north-western corner of that section, the place of com-
    mencement. The said area is more particularly shown out-
    lined by a red line on a plan marked NZE 1000 (sheets
    1-3) deposited in the office of the Electricity Division of the
    Ministry of Energy at Wellington.

  2. (a) A cable for the transmission of electricity situated
    in the County of Heathcote, commencing at the terminals
    of the selector switch mounted on a pole forming parts of the
    Woolston-Lyttelton 11 kV transmission line of the Electricity
    Division of the Ministry of Energy, and proceeding down
    the said pole to the ground; thence underground in an easterly
    direction to the licensee's pumping station.
    (b) A cable for the transmission of electricity commencing
    at the switch cubicle of the licensee's pumping station afore-
    said and proceeding underground to the first pole of the
    lines authorised in paragraph 3 hereof.
    Both being situated in Section 77, Block XVI, Christchurch
    Survey District, the positions of the said cables being indicated
    by means of broken red lines on the plan marked NZE 1007
    deposited as aforesaid.

  3. Lines for the transmission and supply of electricity,
    situated in the County of Heathcote:
    (a) Leading from the transmission lines of the Electricity
    Division of the Ministry of Energy in Section 77, Block XVI,
    Christchurch Survey District, to the licensee's pumping station,
    situated in the said Section 77, and proceeding thence across
    section 329, Block XVI, Christchurch Survey District, to the
    licensee's pump and motor, situated in the said Section 329,
    and proceeding thence across Section 122, Block XVI, Christ-
    church Survey District, to the licensee's pump and motor
    situated in the said Section 122, and proceeding thence across
    the said Section 122 to a drainage pump, situated in the said
    Section 122, and across Section 120, Block XVI, Christchurch
    Survey District, to the licensee's pump and motor situated
    in the said Section 120.
    (b) Commencing at the licensee's pumping station aforesaid
    and proceeding in a north-westerly direction to the inter-
    section of the Lyttelton-Christchurch Railway and Scrutons
    Road with branch lines leading as follows:
    (i) In a north-westerly direction to the licensee's pump
    house, in Section 274, Block XVI aforesaid;
    (ii) In a northerly then north-easterly direction to a farm
    in Section 329, Block XVI aforesaid.
    The positions of the said lines being indicated by means
    of blue and red lines on the plan marked NZE 1008 deposited
    as aforesaid.

Declaring Land Owned by the Crown to be Vested in the
Auckland Hospital Board

PURSUANT to section 68 of the Hospitals Act 1957, the
Minister of Health hereby declares that the land described in
the Schedule hereto to be vested in the Auckland Hospital
Board in fee simple for hospital purposes.
