Land Taken for Road in Waimairi County

KEITH HOLYOAKE, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, the Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road, and shall vest in the Waimairi County Council, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of October 1980.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 71 square metres, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District; being part Lot 1, D.P. 8439; as shown on plan S.O. 15212, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch, and thereon marked ‘A’.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 29th day of September 1980.

Setting Apart Land Held for the Purpose of Car Sheds in Connection with Electric Tramways for Housing Purposes in Block XI, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken for the purpose of car sheds in connection with electric tramways, and vested in the Wellington City Council by a Proclamation dated the 12th day of September 1912, and published in the Gazette, No. 69, 1912, at page 2540 and 2541. Now therefore pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the said land is hereby set apart, as from the 16th day of October 1980, for housing purposes.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 137 square metres, situated in the City of Wellington, being part town belt, Block XI, Port Nicholson Survey District; as shown on plan S.O. 30803, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and thereon marked “B”.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of October 1980.

Revoking a Warrant Declaring an Area of Land in the Waimarino Ward of the Central North Island Wildlife Conservancy to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act of 1953, I, the Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Warrant published on the 28th day of September 1961* notifying and declaring an area of Land to be a Wildlife Refuge.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of October 1980.
