Price Order No. 182 (North American D'Anjou Pears)
Pursuant to the Commerce Act 1975, I, Desmond James Gasson, pursuant to a delegation from the Secretary of Trade and Industry, hereby make the following price order:
- This order may be cited as Price Order No. 182 and shall come into force on the 10th day of October 1980.
Application of This Order
- This order applies with respect to all North American D'Anjou Pears sold by way of retail in New Zealand.
Maximum Retail Prices
- (1) Subject to the provisions of this clause, the maximum price that may be charged or received by any retailer for any North American D'Anjou Pears shall be:
$1.59 a kilogram.
(2) If in respect of any lot of pears sold by a retailer the maximum price calculated in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this clause is not an exact number of cents, the maximum price of the lot may be computed to the nearest whole cent.
Special Prices Where Extraordinary Charges Incurred
- Subject to such conditions, if any, as he thinks fit, the Secretary, on application by any retailer, may authorise special prices in respect of any North American D'Anjou Pears to which this order applies where special circumstances exist, or for any reason extraordinary charges (freight or otherwise) are incurred by the retailer. Any authority given by the Secretary under this clause may apply with respect to a specified lot or consignment of pears or may relate generally to all North American D'Anjou Pears to which this order applies sold by the retailer while the approval remains in force.
Duty Imposed on Retailers
- Every retailer who offers or exposes any North American D'Anjou Pears for sale in any shop shall keep in a prominent position in such proximity to the pears to which it relates as to be obviously descriptive thereof, a ticket, placard, or label on which shall be stated in legible and prominent characters the following particulars:
(a) The retail price a kilogram.
(b) The words "North American D'Anjou Pears".

Classification of Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

North Auckland Land District—Waitemata City
1.9233 hectares, more or less, being part Lot 13, D.P. 10513, and Allotment 675, Waikomiti Parish, situated in Blocks III and VII, Titirangi Survey District. Balance New Zealand Gazette, 1958, page 626, and all Gazette notice 295953, S.O. Plan 49101.
This notice is issued in substitution for the notice dated 21 July 1980, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 7 August 1980, No. 92, page 2343, and that notice is hereby cancelled.

Classification of Parts of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares that part of the reserve, described in the First Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, declares that part of the reserve, described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for local purpose (site for a kindergarten), subject to the provisions of the said Act.
First Schedule
North Auckland Land District—Rodney County—Wellsford Memorial Park Domain Recreation Reserve
4267 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 11, D.P. 46159, situated in Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District. Part certificate of title 847/25.
Second Schedule
North Auckland Land District—Rodney County
1.6059 hectares, more or less, being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 42923, and Lot 2, D.P. 22800, situated in Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District. All certificates of title 694/208, 1311/35, and 609/189.

Change of Classification of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby changes the classification of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the said Act.

North Auckland Land District—Rodney County—Motutara Island Scenic Reserve
3.1110 hectares, more or less, being Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 22125 (Motutara Island), situated in Block VII, Kawau Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1968, p. 1132, and all certificate of title 17A/589.
