The Traffic (Strathallan County) Notice No. 2, 1980

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Strathallan County) Notice No. 2, 1980.
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
The notice dated the 15th day of November 1960†, issued pursuant to the Transport Act 1949 and the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to a road situated within Strathallan County adjacent to Geraldine Borough is hereby revoked.
The Traffic (Strathallan County) Notice No. 1, 1977, dated the 2nd day of November 1977‡, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Situated within Strathallan County adjacent to Geraldine Borough:
No. 72 State Highway (Woodend-Winchester): from the northern boundary of Geraldine Borough to a point 100 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State Highway from the said boundary.
Pye Road: from the western boundary of Geraldine Borough to a point 400 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from the said boundary.
Geraldine-Orari Road: from the eastern boundary of Geraldine Borough to a point 100 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from the said boundary.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Situated within Strathallan County adjacent to Geraldine Borough:
No. 72 State Highway (Woodend-Winchester): from a point 100 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State Highway from the northern boundary of Geraldine Borough to a point 750 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State Highway from the said boundary.

The Traffic (Manawatu County) Notice No. 1, 1980

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manawatu County) Notice No. 1, 1980.
  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
  3. The notice declaring a closely populated locality pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 18th day of July 1950†, which relates to the road in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

Situated within Manawatu County adjacent to Feilding Borough:
No. 54 State Highway (Mangaweka-Palmerston North via Kimbolton): from the southern boundary of Feilding Borough to a point 200 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from Turners Road.

Christchurch City Council Electric Lines Licence 1980

Pursuant to section 20 of the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Energy licenses the Christchurch City Council to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

This licence is issued subject to the following conditions:

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence may be cited as the Christchurch City Council Electric Lines Licence 1980.
  2. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except insofar as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.
  3. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except insofar as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.
  4. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f) and (h) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976.
  5. The lines and cables described in paragraphs 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 of the Schedule hereto shall not be used by the licensee for the purpose of supply to any consumer of the Riccarton Borough Council, the Heathcote County Council, or the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board in their respective supply areas.
  6. This licence shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1980 and shall continue in force for a period of 21 years from that date unless it is sooner lawfully determined.

SCHEDULE

ELECTRIC LINES

(1) Lines for the transmission and supply of electricity within all that area in the Canterbury Land District, situated in the City of Christchurch and the Counties of Heathcote, Paparua, and Waimairi, bounded by a line commencing at the middle of the mouth of the Waimakariri River, Block IV, Christchurch Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly, generally, up the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Rural Section 14216; thence south-easterly to and along that boundary, the north-eastern boundary of Rural Section 17167, and the production of the last mentioned boundary to the left (western) bank of the Styx River; thence southerly, generally, along that bank to a point in line with the northernmost corner of part Lot 3, D.P. 9363, comprised in certificate of title 12F/259; thence westerly to and along the northern boundary of that part lot, and the generally northern boundary of Reserve 1835, to the eastern boundary of part Rural Section 18057, comprised in certificate of title 539/16; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of that section to the south-eastern boundary of part Reserve 1250; thence south-westerly along that boundary to a point in line with the southern boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 11676, comprised in certificate of title 11A/1025; thence westerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the old bed of the Waimakariri River; thence westerly, generally, up the middle of that old bed to a point in line with the middle of Shipleys Road (Block VI, Christchurch Survey District); thence south-westerly to and along the middle of Shipleys Road and Russley Road to the middle of Yaldhurst Road; thence south-easterly, generally, along the middle lines of Yaldhurst Road, Riccarton Road, Hansons Lane, Blenheim Road, and Annex Road to the middle of Wigram Road; thence south-westerly along the middle of that road to the middle of Halswell Junction Road; thence north-westerly along that road to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Rural Section 952, Block XIV, Christchurch Survey District, thence south-westerly to and along that boundary and its
