(e) One member appointed by the Auckland Branch of the New Zealand Society of Accountants.
(f) One member who shall be the Chairman of the Auckland Regional Council for Technical Education.
(g) One member appointed by the Auckland City Council.
(h) One member appointed by the Council of the University of Auckland.
(i) One member appointed by the Northern Region of the New Zealand Secondary School Boards' Association to represent the controlling authorities of secondary schools in the area in which the institute is situated.
(j) One member who shall be the Principal of the Auckland Technical Institute.
(k) One member who shall represent the staff of the Auckland Technical Institute and shall be elected by full-time teachers employed by the Board of Governors and who shall himself be a teacher employed by the Board.
(l) One member who shall represent the full-time non-teaching staff of the Auckland Technical Institute and shall be elected by full-time non-teaching staff employed by the Board of Governors and who shall himself be employed by the Board.
(m) (i) One member who shall be a representative of the students of Auckland Technical Institute and who shall be elected to a term of office of 1 year by students of the institute and who shall himself be a student of the institute.
(ii) For the purposes of subparagraph (i) of paragraph (m) of this clause a "student of the institute" shall be defined as any student enrolled in a course of study at the Auckland Technical Institute at the time of the calling of nominations for the election of the student representative.
(n) Not more than three members may be co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  1. The Regional Superintendent of Education, Auckland, or his deputy, shall be an associate member of the Council of the Auckland Technical Institute and shall be entitled to be present at any meeting of the Council, or of any committee of the Council and to speak at the meeting; but he shall not be entitled to vote at any such meeting.

  2. (1) Subject to the provisions of this clause and the provisions of subparagraph (i) of paragraph (m) of clause 3 of this notice, the members of the Council of the Auckland Technical Institute shall hold office for a term of 3 years but may from time to time be reappointed.
    (2) Every co-opted member of the Council shall be appointed for such term, not exceeding 3 years, as the Council thinks fit.
    (3) Except in the case of a casual vacancy or as otherwise provided in this clause every member shall hold office until the 1st day of December in the third year after his appointment and if on the 1st day of December the appointment of his successor has not been notified to the Council, he shall continue to hold office until the date on which that appointment is notified.
    (4) If any member dies, or resigns his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Council or the Chairman or the Secretary thereof, or is absent without leave from the meetings of the Council for 3 consecutive months, or while holding office becomes ineligible to remain a member by reason of disability, insolvency, neglect of duty or misconduct, the casual vacancy so created shall be filled as soon as practicable thereafter by the appointment of a member in the manner in which the vacating member was appointed and the member appointed to fill the vacancy shall hold office for the residue of the term of office of the member whom he replaces.
    (5) The powers of the Council shall not be affected by any vacancy in the membership thereof.

International Commission on Rules for the Approval of Electrical Equipment CEE—Publication 20, part 1 and part II, "Hand-Held Motor-operated Tools".

Declared suitable subject to:
(i) Any plug or flexible cord connector if not of a type prohibited from use in New Zealand; and
(ii) Any radio interference suppression device complies with Regulation 126 (4).
