Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, which land shall vest as to the areas secondly and
thirdly described, in the Whakatane District Council; and
also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the
Second Schedule hereto and declares that the closed road
shall be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948.

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby

Council, and also hereby proclaims that the road described
in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed, and also
hereby proclaims that the land described in the Third
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of subsection
(6) of the said section 29, and that the road described in
the said Second Schedule, when so closed, and described in
