A suitable notice as may be approved by the Regional Marine Officer, Ministry of Transport, Wellington, shall be erected at sites deemed necessary by the Regional Marine Officer.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws
Pursuant to section 8A of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Robin Paul Taylor, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby approve the Manawatu Regional Water Board Water Control Bylaws 1980, adopted and passed at a meeting of the Manawatu Regional Water Board held on the 16th day of September 1980.

The Water Recreation (Ruamahanga River) Notice 1980
Featherston County Council
Pursuant to the Water Recreation Regulations 1979*, I, Robin Paul Taylor of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give the following notice:
NOTICE
-
(a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Ruamahanga River) Notice 1980.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette and shall remain in force until further notice in the Gazette. -
Subject to the conditions set forth in the Fourth Schedule hereto, regulations 7 (1) (a) and (b), 7 (2), 8 (1) (a) and (b) and 8 (2) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979 shall not apply to the area specified in the First Schedule hereto, excepting thereout the period one week prior to the duck shooting season and for the first week of the said season.

Subject to the conditions set forth in the Fourth Schedule hereto, regulations 7 (1) (a) and (b), and 7 (2) of the Water Recreation Regulations shall not apply to the area specified in the Second Schedule hereto excepting thereout the period one week prior to the duck shooting season and for the first week of the said season.

Subject to the conditions set forth in the Fourth Schedule hereto, regulations 7 (1) (a) and (b) and 7 (2) of the Water Recreation Regulations shall not apply to the area specified in the Third Schedule hereto during the period commencing on 1 November of any one year to 14 August of the following year, both dates being inclusive, excepting thereout that period being one week prior to the duck shooting season and for the first week of the said season.

Notice is hereby given that the Motor Launch (Ruamahanga River) Notice 1976†, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
All that area of water of the Ruamahanga River commencing at the Onoke stopbank thence upstream to the Tuhitarata Bridge as more particularly shown coloured green on plan M.D. 16022, deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.
SECOND SCHEDULE
All that area of water of the Ruamahanga River commencing at the Tuhitarata Bridge thence upstream to the confluence of the Ruamahanga and Huangarua Rivers as shown more particularly coloured blue on plan M.D. 16022, deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.
THIRD SCHEDULE
All that area of water of the Ruamahanga River commencing at the confluence of the Ruamahanga and Huangarua Rivers thence upstream to the Gladstone Bridge as more particularly shown coloured red on plan M.D. 16022, deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.
FOURTH SCHEDULE

Notwithstanding any other provision of this notice, no person who is permitted by any such provision to propel or navigate a small craft at a speed through the water exceeding 5 knots, shall do so in a manner that is likely to endanger or unduly annoy any person who is in, on, or using the water, or fishing, or undertaking any recreational activity in the vicinity of the small craft.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee
Pursuant to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 29 August 1980, made an order revoking its order made on 25 November 1977 in respect of the licensed premises known as the Bayview Hotel, Kaiaua, and further authorised variations of the usual hours of trading for the said premises as detailed hereunder.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve), and Christmas Eve—Opening at 10 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(c) On New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
