Cancellation of the Vesting in the Naseby Borough Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Naseby Borough Council and revokes the reservation as a reserve for local purpose (treeplanting) over the reserve described in the Schedule hereto.

The Water Recreation (Nelson Rivers) Notice 1980

PURSUANT to the Water Recreation Regulations 1979*, I, Robin Paul Taylor, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of the powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Nelson Rivers) Notice 1980.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette, and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette.

2. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 7 (1) (a) and (b) and 7 (2) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979, shall not apply to the areas specified in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

1. All the waters of the Waima and Wairoa Rivers from the sea to the confluence with the Lee River when the water level of the river is 2 feet above normal winter clear water flow as designated by a mark at the Appleby Bridge, as shown more particularly coloured red on plan M.D. 16019, deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

2. Between 1 September and 30 November of any year, all the waters of the Aorere River from the confluence of the Aorere and Brown Rivers to the Rockville Bridge; as shown more particularly coloured green on plan M.D. 16019, deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

3. Between 1 December of any one year and 31 August of the following year, all the waters of the Aorere River from the confluence of the Aorere and Brown Rivers to the sea; as more particularly shown coloured red on plan M.D. 16019, deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.
