On any Monday and Tuesday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 7 o'clock in the evening.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Hurunui Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Hurunui Licensing Committee, on 16 July 1980, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Cheviot Licensing Trust.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Saturday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

The Charitable Trusts Act 1957—Notice of Approval of a Scheme under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957

NOTICE is hereby given that the scheme, filed by Olphert and Bornholdt, as solicitors for the Wellington Diocesan Board of Trustees, as trustee of the will of John Kebbell, late of Levin, farmer, deceased, and approved by a vestry meeting on the 30th day of January 1977, was approved by this honourable Court on Tuesday, 24 June 1980.

In the matter of the Commerce Act 1975, and in the matter of a proposed takeover by Fletcher Holdings Limited (Fletcher), of Carter Holt Holdings Limited (Carter Holt):

PURSUANT to section 81u of the Commerce Act 1975, the Commission hereby orders that (notwithstanding any other orders made or to be made by the Commission under section 81h), the transfers of ordinary shares in Carter Holt Holdings Limited referred to in the Schedules filed with the Commission (copies of which have been given to Carter Holt Holdings Limited), may be submitted for registration on the following terms:

(a) The 331 761 shares referred to in the First Schedule filed with the Commission to be registered in the name of The Public Trustee of New Zealand as Trustee for Customhouse Holdings Limited.
(b) The 138 709 shares referred to in the Second Schedule filed with the Commission to be registered in the name of The Public Trustee of New Zealand as Trustee for United New Zealand Nominees Limited.
(c) That the directors of Carter Holt Holdings Limited register in the name of The Public Trustee all such transfers as are so submitted to it in registrable form.
(d) Any bonus shares issued by Carter Holt Holdings Limited in respect of these shares shall be allotted to and held by The Public Trustee as Trustee as aforesaid.
(e) Any dividends or similar payment payable in respect of the shares shall be paid by Carter Holt Holdings Limited to The Public Trustee and forthwith paid by him to Customhouse Holdings Limited or United New Zealand Nominees Limited as the case may be. Payment as aforesaid to The Public Trustee shall be a full and proper discharge to Carter Holt Holdings Limited of all its obligations.

(f) Apart from receiving and forwarding any dividends or similar payments and receiving and holding share certificates The Public Trustee will not exercise any rights in respect of such shares and shall hold the shares subject to such further orders as may be made by the Commission under section 81n.
(g) This order shall be renewed on expiry without application of any party from time to time until the Commission otherwise orders.
(h) This order is made entirely without prejudice to the rights or obligations of any persons.
